SV	Verkondigt [het] niet te Gath, weent zo jammerlijk niet; wentelt u in het stof in het huis van Afra.

Trans.	bəḡaṯ ’al-tagîḏû bāḵwō ’al-tiḇəkû bəḇêṯ lə‘afərâ ‘āfār hiṯəpallāšətî hiṯəpallāšî:

AC	י בגת אל תגידו--בכו אל תבכו בבית לעפרה עפר התפלשתי (התפלשי)
ASV	Tell it not in Gath, weep not at all: at Beth-le-aphrah have I rolled myself in the dust.
BE	Give no word of it in Gath, let there be no weeping at all: at Beth-le-aphrah be rolling in the dust.
Darby	Tell it not in Gath, weep not at all; at Beth-le-aphrah roll thyself in the dust.
